Inada amberjack is one of the fish of "Shusse-Uo". Those Shusse-Uo are called by different names as they grow larger. As for this fish, The basic size of it is about 20-30 centimeters is called Inada, about 30-60 centimeters is called Hamachi, and it is larger than 60 centimeters is called Japanese amberjack.
Nagasaki, Tottori and Ishikawa Prefecture have the large catch of Japanese amberjack (inada and hamachi) in Japan. The season for inada amberjack in Japan is from June to November.
